About the event

Lewis Menzies’ musical journey began in 2020 when he competed in the Rotary Young Musician of the Year, winning both the school and county rounds. This early success fuelled his passion for singing, leading him to pursue vocal studies at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester. A recent graduate of the RNCM, Lewis looks ahead to an exciting year, including performances with Johns’ Boys choir.

Catriona Arthur is a Scottish Soprano currently in her first-year master’s at The Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of Yvonne Howard. She is a recent graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studied under the teaching of Joan Rodgers and Robert Botreill. Catriona has a love for opera particularly early opera and oratorio and thrives and enjoys singing this repertoire.

Steinway Artist Yuki Negishi has established herself as a pianist of rare poetry, passion and virtuosity, equally at home as an adjudicator, educator and researcher, captivating audiences wherever she performs around the world.
