About the event
A concert of musical flair, technical brilliance, virtuosity and beautiful song, it features music by Handel, Ravel and Villa Lobos, as well as other great composers. Come on a journey of vividly different styles and moods, from ornate Baroque to French impressionism, to modernism fused with Brazilian folk, as well as melodies and airs from closer to home.
Born and bred in Dumfries and Galloway, Rebecca completed her undergraduate at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and her Masters Degree at the Royal Academy of Music, before embarking on a successful career playing with leading UK orchestras, as well as regularly performing as a soloist. Originally from France, Anne studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has lived and worked in the region for many years.
