Join the Guild of Players for their 2024 annual pantomime... Hansel & Gretel by Alan P.Frayn! 

Can Bluebell, the Fairy of the Forest, manage to rescue Hansel and Gretel before they are eaten by Nightshade, the Wicked Witch of the Woods, who is determined to turn the tables this time and finally get her way?  Meanwhile, the comic twosome, Nut-Meg and Basil, add to the turmoil when they try to sell all sorts of foolish food and fake fare foraged from the forest!

Your tutor Jaine will show you step by step how to master the skill of wreath making.  

We provide all the tools and materials for you to make your own personalised door wreath.  

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience.

You may wish to bring along an apron and a pair of gloves.

The dark days of the witch trials left a powerful mark on the town of Dumfries... At the height of the persecutions, at least 78 people were accused of witchcraft, with many more affected in the wider region.

Join award-winning storytellers, Mostly Ghostly, as they reawaken a collection of historical, thought-provoking accounts, through layers of rich narrative and first-hand dramatisations, exploring cases of alleged witchcraft and their devastating human consequences...

The tour features a special evening visit to Dumfries Museum, where guests will have the opportunity to view intriguing artefacts connected to the witch-hunting era.
