Katie Lowe is a British Soprano, born in Cheshire in 1986. She has studied at the RNCM, RCM, CIAV and completed her MA in advanced Vocal studies at the Wales International Academy of Voice. Katie returned to the RNCM in 2015/16 to complete her college education on the International Artist Diploma course studying with Susan Roper.
Operatic experiences include Innkeepers Wife and Woodpecker in the Cunning Little Vixen (RNCM), the Vixen in the Threepenny Opera (RNCM) and Maman in Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges (RNCM), Kabanicha in Katja Kabanova (RNCM Opera Theatre), The Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas (Manchester Camerata), Una Voce Interno in La Rondine (Opera Holland Park, cover) and the role of Anna Maurrant in the RNCM production of Kurt Weill's Street Scene. Opera excerpts include Dido in Dido and Aeneas (RNCM), Electra in Idomeneo (RCM), Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (RCM), Fordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte (CIAV), Mimi in La Bohème (CIAV), the title role in Tosca and Leonora in Fidelio (Clonter Opera), Magda in The Consul (RNCM).
In a career spanning over three decades, Phillip Thomas has worked as a vocal coach, casting associate, record producer, accompanist, vocal consultant and conductor. His prolific concert career apart from performances all over the UK and Ireland include concerts in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans and St Louis.
